Rapport d'activités pour l'année 2012

Le concert, à Lausanne

Nous avons vécu un moment magique, d’émotions et de pur plaisir à l’écoute de Tamatakia le 3 novembre 2012 à la chapelle du Valentin à Lausanne.

Merci aux quatre musiciennes du groupe Tamatakia (Photo ci-dessous, de gauche à droite : Mmes Christine Niggler, Anne Thérèse Bieri, Noëlle Reymond et Tina Strinning).

Un remerciement spécial au Pasteur Pierre Bertololy et à l’église Méthodiste de Lausanne pour la mise à disposition de la chapelle du Valentin.

Et à nos bénévoles qui étaient là pour nous donner un coup de main pour le concert, en particulier à  Jessica Dehler, Willy Oberhänsli, Yvan Parasole, Angela Recchia, et Valéry Zanolari, sans citer toute l’équipe.

Les stands

Merci aux amis et membres de l’association qui ont donné un peu de leur temps sur les stands en novembre et décembre 2012 pour accomplir l’importante mission qui était de récolter des fonds pour les paniers. Équateur, décembre 2012. Cette année nous démarrons le projet à Guayaquil, surnommée la « Perle du Pacifique » qui est aussi la capitale économique du pays avec son port très important et ses quelques quatre millions d’habitants. C’est une ville à la fois moderne et coloniale, ce qui lui donne un certain charme.

À Guayaquil il fait très chaud… et humide.

Après avoir trouvé le lieu pour la distribution des paniers -cette année ce sera au quartier général de la police de Guayaquil- nous nous déployons en deux équipes dans les endroits les plus défavorisés de la ville, pour inviter les gens à venir chercher leur panier le jour de la distribution. Comme chaque année nous leur distribuons des tickets.

1 ticket jaune = 1 panier;

1 ticket rouge = 1 peluche;

Les préparatifs au quartier général de la police

Nos remerciements au Général Patricio Pazmiño Castillo, commandant des forces de police du district de Guayaquil, pour son soutien logistique et pour avoir donné à l’association l’autorisation d’utiliser la cour intérieure du quartier général pour la distribution.

 
Ce sont les policiers qui nous recevaient ce jour-là, mais ce sont bel et bien les recrues de l’école militaire de la marine nationale, qui ayant répondu présent à notre appel, nous ont donné le coup de main décisif pour toute la préparation. Merci au groupe et à leur chef, le capitaine de corvette José Luis Troya Andrade, commandant de la base navale Nord. 

Le 24 décembre 2012, la distribution

Nous commencions par une distribution de peluches que le père Noël avait amené dans sa hotte bien garnie. Il en offrit quelques cent vingt et fit le grand bonheur des enfants de Guayaquil.

Merci à chacun et chacune, aux enfants et aux plus grands qui ont eu à coeur d’offrir leurs peluches à l’association, en particulier à Élisa Lanternier et à Rose Hennard qui contribuèrent largement à remplir la hotte du père Noël cette année. C’était super!

Merci à Ruth Zorrilla et Mario Mena pour la musique et l’animation et merci à la fanfare de la police.

Nous continuions par la distribution de deux cent cinquante paniers.

27 et 28 décembre, La Libertad

La Libertad est la ville la plus peuplée de la province de Santa Elena, située au bord de la mer, à deux heures et demi de route de Guayaquil, sur le chemin qui mène à Salinas.  
Nous nous rendons dans les quartiers sensibles de la Libertad pour inviter cent cinquante familles à venir chercher leur panier le lendemain, le 28 décembre 2012, à l’église catholique de la ‘Virgen del Cisne’ qui nous a ouvert ses portes.

 
Encore une fois nous avons eu la chance et l’honneur de pouvoir compter sur les militaires… Ils ont fait un travail extraordinaire et mis beaucoup de coeur à l’ouvrage, ce qui fait vraiment plaisir!  Merci au groupe de la Libertad et à leur commandant le colonel René Marcelo Buitron qui dirige le bataillon d’infanterie motorisée 14 Marañon.

Pour patienter, les enfants avaient à réaliser un bricolage de Noël. Ils se prêtèrent au jeu et leurs créations furent des plus originales!!! (Photo en-haut à gauche)

Au total nous aurons offert quatre cent paniers au Noël 2012 (250 à Guayaquil et 150 à la Libertad).

The concert, in Lausanne

We lived a magic moment, full of emotions! It was a delight to listen to the group Tamatakia on November 3, 2012 at the chapel du Valentin in Lausanne.

And to our volunteers who gave us a hand that night for the concert, in particular to Jessica Dehler, Willy Oberhänsli, Yvan Parasole, Angela Recchia, and Valéry Zanolari, without naming the whole team.

Ecuador, December 2012. This year we started the project in Guayaquil, named « Pearl of the Pacific », which is also the economic capital of the country. It has a very important commercial harbour and four million inhabitants. The city is at the same time modern and colonial, what gives her a certain charm.

In Guayaquil the weather is hot… and wet.

Having found the place for the distribution of the baskets -this year it will be in the headquarters of the police forces, in Guayaquil- we spread in two teams in the suburbs to go distribute tickets to people living in deep poverty and invite them to come to look for their Christmas basket the day of distribution.

Our thanks to General Patricio Pazmiño Castillo, commander of the police forces of the district of Guayaquil, for his logistic support and to have given to the association the authorization to use the inner courtyard of the headquarters for the distribution.

 
That day, the boys of the navy academy gave us a good help for all the preparation. Thanks to the group and to Captain José Luis Troya Andrade, commander of the Navy base of the North. 

December 24, 2012 the distribution

We began with a distribution of cuddly toys that Santa Klaus had brought from far away in his heavy sack. Santa offered some hundred and twenty teddies and made the big happiness of the children of Guayaquil.

Thanks to every children and also to the grown-up who had in the heart to offer their teddies to the association, in particular to Élisa Lanternier and to Rose Hennard who contributed widely to fill Santa’s sack this year. It was great!

Thanks to Ruth Zorrilla and Mario Mena for the music and the animation and to the brass band of the police.

We continued by the distribution of two hundred and fifty baskets.

December 27 and 28, La Libertad

La Libertad is the most populated city of Santa Elena‘s province, situated by the sea, at two and a half hours from Guayaquil on the road to Salinas.  
We went into the sensitive districts of la Libertad to invite hundred and fifty families to come to look for their Christmas basket the day after, on December 28th, 2012, to our host Church of the day: « la Virgen del Cisne », who welcomed the event.

 
Once more, we had the priviledge and the honor to count on soldiers to help us… and they did an amazing job!
Thanks to the military of « la Libertad » and to Colonel René Marcelo Buitron, commander of the battalion of motorized infantry 14 Marañon.
